Canvas Yard is in Leeds City Centre, just a 7 minute walk from the train station. You can find us Trent St, Holbeck, Leeds LS11 9NP.
We have taxi drop off point on Bowling Green Terrace.
The main entrance to Canvas Yard is on Trent Street.

Yes! This is an outdoor festival site so please keep the British weather in mind. We recommend all attendees dress appropriately and be prepared if the ground is wet from rain in the’ stage and the VIP area are both covered areas if the weather does turn!

Yes - last entry is 3pm, please arrive early to avoid large queues around this time and we have David Morales flying in to play from 3pm (not to be missed!) .
But my hotel has check in from 3pm? Most hotels will allow early check-in so please contact and ask them.

Unfortunately there are no pass outs. We have plenty of food and drink on site to keep you going through the day. Anyone who leaves will not be able to re-enter.

There is no cloakroom onsite at Canvas Yard, please dress for the day and keep the weather in mind. Note there is a cloak room at The warehouse for the after-party.

Yes but only small bags are permitted around A4 size max. All bags are subject to a search so please avoid bringing one where you can as this would speed up entry to the venue.

The venue has several changes in levels throughout the site; however, it is wheelchair accessible, and there are accessible toilets located near the medic and welfare area. Staff will be on hand to assist you with any needs. Please email info@newcitizens.co.uk for inquiries beforehand

Yes - we continue the party over at the Warehouse Leeds running from 10pm—4am with Greg Wilson and Crazy P heading the show. Tickets can be found over at Skiddle.

A very limited number of tickets will be set aside for on-the-day sales. Get down early to avoid missing out. Doors for all our shows open at 12pm and last entry is 3pm.

If you're a local resident and wish to attend the event, we offer £20 discount tickets. Simply use the password 'residenttix' on the ticket page at Skiddle.com – Hacienda Open Air, Canvas Yard. Please bring a proof of address and ID on the day.

No car parking, we advise everyone to travel via taxi or on foot .

Management reserved the right to refuse entry, regardless if you have a ticket or not.
Please note valid ID is required for entry [18+ only & Challenge 25] - Passport, Drivers licence or Provisional driving license only.
We will work closely with West Yorkshire Police and have a zero tolerance policy to drugs, anti-social, aggressive, homophobic, sexist and racist behaviour.
There will be searches at the gates and conditions of entry are below.
All tickets are strictly non transferable and non refundable.
Group ticket holders must arrive together.
VIP Upgrade ticket holders must also show festival tickets.
Please drink and behave responsibly and look after your friends.

Please obey the law. Canvas Yard has zero tolerance for legal highs.
No alcohol or liquids of any kind
No drugs including ‘legal highs’
No knives or weapons
No aerosols, sprays or pressurised containers permitted
No glass
Admission is subject to search
No food
No perfumes or aftershaves
No dogs
No flares or fireworks
No bikes
No re-entry
No drink of any kind [empty plastic refillable bottle are allowed – up to 500ml, no metal bottles, free water points are located across the festival]
Sun cream or lotion sized at 200ml or less in original containers, vape liquid, and eye drops in standard plastic 10ml containers will be allowed but contents may be tested on arrival
No laser pens or pointers
No professional cameras, including professional camera equipment (e.g. camera stand, lenses, and selfie sticks)
No audio recording equipment, noise-making devices
No skateboards and rollerblades, hover-boards, scooters, bicycles, and other personal motorized and non-motorized vehicles
No unauthorized solicitation or marketing materials (e.g., handbills, flyers, stickers)
No drones or unmanned aerial systems
No high visibility vests or coats
No rucksacks bigger than A4 are allowed.
No Selfie-SticksFilming and photography in the gate areas is not allowed.
If you arrive with any of the above items you will usually be able to dispose of it/them at the gate.
No items left at the gate will be able to be collected once the customer has left the gate area.
Items surrendered at the gate can be disposed of immediately.
Management reserve the right to refuse admission.

Canvas Yard is easily reachable from the city centre, we are just a 7 minute walk from Leeds train station.
There are taxis outside Leeds train station and this will take just a few minutes to get to the venue. Check out our location on the map below.
